Known for their award-winning, parent-and-kid-friendly music, Rolie Polie Guacamole blends original tunes with vibrant harmonies and smart lyrics.
Frank Gallo and Andrew Tuzhilin, Jersey natives, formed the band Rolie Polie Guacamole in 2006 while living in Brooklyn, NY. They released their first album in 2008 and have since played thousands of shows, recording 13 albums and gaining a loyal fanbase of "Guacamoliacs." Their 7th album, Avocado, was a hit during the pandemic, and they released over 60 new songs between 2022-2023, forming four albums.
In January 2024, the band went viral after being featured in a Recess Therapy video, co-writing a song with viral sensation Ike. Their 12th album, On the Stoop, is set for spring 2025. Meanwhile, they recorded Rockamole, a rock-driven album inspired by the loss of their mentor Steve Albini, which will be released in fall 2025
