By voluntarily judging either (or both!) the 2025 National Barbecue Festival Contest or the Steak Cookoff Association Double Steak + Ancillary Contest (collectively, the "Contests"), I agree: *

• to understand and abide by all Official Rules of the Contests, as provided on this site, as well as any further documentation as deemed reasonable by the Contest sponsor(s); • that I judge the Contest(s) understanding and assuming all risk in connection with my participation; • I may be photographed, captured on video, or recorded as part of the Contest(s), and the Released Parties (defined below) may use the resulting photography, video and recordings in any media, worldwide, at any time, including in connection with the advertising and publicity of the Contest(s); I consent to the usage of my name, photograph, image, likeness and voice as captured in connection with the Contest(s) without compensation, credit or other consideration of any kind; • to release, indemnify and hold harmless JAM52 Productions LLC DBA National BBQ Festival, RRDA, its clients, Nassau County, the Steak Cookoff Association, and their respective subsidiaries and affiliated companies, units and divisions; and any of their advertising agencies, promotional agencies, marketing partners or prize suppliers; each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees; and each of these companies’ and individuals’ respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim, liability, or cause of action, including, but not limited to, damage to or loss of property, or injury/death, arising out of participation in any of these Contests.
